Very rarely do I see one that doesn't have a weep, that is, dusty accumulation
around the gasket.
Only way I can think of stopping it is to coat the edge of the gasket that faces
the fluid with
a sealant like Threebond grey goo before assembly. I'm going to give that a
shot next time I have
mine off.
