Don't make the assumption that a Police Bike has been well maintained. The
one I had was all cobbled up when I got it. It was "maintained" by the
county maintenance people (not a H-D dealer). I understand they are under a
lot of pressure to get units back into service as soon as possible but you
wouldn't believe the crap I found on that bike. It was a damn wonder it
would run as well as it did.
