You might want to get a second opinion on that sound, it might be the usual
pinion bearing clatter. They sound deceptively similar.

The power commander only gives you complete control over timing and fuel.
You can either eliminate or induce pinging.
Like any computer, you get out of it what you put into it.

Properly tuned, it will make a huge impact in the drivability and performance
of your engine.
