900 is actually too low, should be 950-1000. The early EFI used a 2.5mm allen hex,
the newer
models use a torx-10. The only computerized apparatus you need is an accurate
tachometer.
Remember to disconnect the battery overnight after making hot idle adjustments.
There's a 3 page explanation that I'm not going into tonight, just trust me.
The cylinder head temp sensor is in the front head, on evo, it's in the rocker box
chimney,
and on twinkies, it's on the backside of the front head, between the intake manifold
and horn.
