Pull the gas gauge straight up and out of the tank.
You'll see the top of the sending unit with 5 sealing screws holding the plate
down.
They're either T-15 or T-20, depending. Just snug them down, sometimes the screws
will
bind up a bit in the crusty threads and not squeeze the gasket good enough in
production.
If they're tight and it still leaks, then replace the screws and the gasket.
