Interesting, I've never seen a seriously damaged primary chain block except once a bike
came in with -no- primary oil, dry as a bone and the block was a molten glob.
I have a worse horror story, involving a starter jackshaft bushing that somehow
worked it's way out of it's bore, got caught up in the chain, bound up the sprocket,
yanked the engine out of place, broke the lip off the engine case, shifted the
flywheels
out of true, snapped the primary chain,
bound it up under the clutch hub, blew out the inner primary case.
Chunks all over the road. Made me want to stand up and applaud!
It was beautiful!
(not my bike ;^))
