The sprint was made by Aeronautica Macchi (aka Aeromacchi), a small italian
airplane mfr
that HD bought up dirt cheap to fill a gap in the european bike market.

My first bike was a '66 250cc model H sprint, built it from a basket
(several actually) and only had
one photo to go by (that photo is on my website) It's still in my garage
and I still drive it.
Puts out a whopping 12 hp on the dyno, yet still can drag my wife and I
around on the country
roads upwards of 60 mph.

Just glad it's a pre-amf bike, ie no extra fluff like turn signals or
electric starter.
