My method has been to remove the rear wheel, drill a hole up through the fender and
the center of
the stock license plate bracket with a hole just big enough for a long grommet like
what you
would find in a front stock turn signal. I superglue the grommet into the hole and
run the wires
through, completely out of plain sight.
