It's standard practice to line up the dot with the valve stem, but even
with that done
it's possible that it's anywhere up to 4 ounces off. Not often, most of
them end up
less than 2 ounces off, but the Dunlop spec is +/- half ounce.
If it's over 3.5 ounces off, I'll pull the tire and balance just the rim,
sometimes the lightest
point on the wheel is not at the valve stem.
