I'm running a thunderslide in mine as well, and running in sub-freezing weather
whenever the pavement
sticks out from under the snow, and I've never had any problems with it. I do,
however, have to
run summer jetting (44 and #4)and winter jetting (46 and #5).
You might want to try putting the stock airbox back on in colder weather, the
warmer air might alleviate
your condition, and you might also want to try winter fuel conditioner, HD pn
99889-91, it's purpose
is to reduce the potential for icing.
