Porkers would have been about my -last- choice for low end power.
but you obviously bought them for other reasons. so baffle them and don't worry
about the cones because the exhaust port is stepped anyway. (unless you change it)
To make more low end power, you need more compression, you can accomplish this
many ways. You can increase displacement with the big bore kit, or go even higher
with pop up pistons, or install a cam with the appropriate low end personality.
Or any combination of the above.
If you really are set on the porkers, you might retain most of your potential low
end power
by staying with the low overlapped stock cams, and the big bore kit with 9.3:1 CR
flattop
pistons, and the 5 degree retard HD module (6200 rpm for yours)
Throw on a 44mm CV and the SE intake as well. Should put you in the 90 to 95 ftlbf
range in low end torque.
