The CV carb goes through changes in jetting and other things every year.
Can't really tell what you need.
I recommend not altering the size of the slide hole unless boosting the volume
of the accelerator pump.
Take the pilot up one size and adjust the mixture (lean drop) and stack the stock

needle up .040" to .050", leave the main alone.
Drive it and see how it feels.
