Do yourself a favor. Compare the filter elements for the hyper-flapper and the
Zippers filter, I'd say the zippers extra wide easily doubles the surface area of
the
flapper filter. That -alone- clinches it for me. Besides, the flappers don't
-do- anything
except flap and rattle, the scoop is functionless because there is a big hole in
the back
of the housing, the breather system that comes with it is made with rubber boots
which
swell over time and leak all over you and your bike.
oh, yeah, I rejetted alright ;^) many times.
My horn came stock in the front of the frame between the downtubes, so I
installed
a padlock mount on the left side of the motor. I could move the lock
from the neck to the holder and back all while seated on the bike.
I kept my mid controls too, because I needed all the help I could just to stay on
the damn
thing (short of a seat belt) Would have gone with rear pegs and controls, but
they would have interfered
with the SO's pegs.
