Sounds like the ignition CB is opening, likely due to a grounded wire
somewhere.
If you want to verify it, go to radio shack and pick up some tiny
incandescent indicator
bulbs and attach some long leads to them. Bridge any suspect component with
the lamp (put
the lamp in parallel) and if that component opens the circuit, the lamp will
light up.
I have a bundle of indicators like this of several colors, and I will tape
them to my
faceshield while I'm diagnosing something like that, makes it easy to see
and narrows the
problem down quickly.

I would bridge the ignition switch first, then the ignition circuit breaker,
and wiring between them,
and another from the ign breaker to the coil, to tell you if the run stop
switch circuit is acting up.
