For that kind of money you could pick up a standard 883 late model and
swap over the performance parts to the 5 speed equipped bike.
Then reassemble your existing bike stock and sell it or keep for a spare.

Sounds like you have some serious flexing going on when you're hammering.
Maybe the 5 speed is something that should be considered before it blows up?
