I've been playing with different products on belts and decided to try an
experiment
on mine. I set the tension a bit on the loose side, and scrubbed the belt with
soap and
water, stiff brush, cleaned everything off of it. It would only squeak on humid
mornings
for the first few miles (sound familiar, Gimpy?) I drew the belt tension up a
bit at a time
until it rarely happens, and I just leave it alone now. Alignment is perfect.
Maybe the solution is to verify alignment and tension, clean the crap off of it
and run it.
