Well, it would be helpful to know what year/model you're dealing with.
You have a ground in the accessory circuit.
I wouldn't throw parts at it until the last resort.
Lay out your accessory wiring circuit from the ignition switch and after.
If there is a connector in there somewhere that will allow you to split the harness
in half, unplug it and you will be able to narrow the problem down.
Most likely culprit in my experience? Handlebar perch clamp pinching a wire.
Seen it many times.
