Good call. If you have no further plans to change cams or displacement and such,
then
the stage one is an acceptable way to go. Your dealer will have to install the
software for you
but the rest is pretty straightforward. About $280 list price, your discount
may vary.
If you later decide to step up the performance, you will need to purchase and
have your
dealer install another stage software package.
If you already know you're going to take the engine to the next level sooner or
later,
then consider the power commander, I've seen them available for a very similar
price
as the stage one kit (coincidence?) and you can install it yourself, and adjust
it yourself.
There is a fair amount of tinkering and self education involved here.
I consider it to be another part of the adventure.
