Sorry to hear it, but I'd be leery as well. I'd probably give STD a call
first
and make sure I get a recommended procedure, that way maybe they'd
suck it up if I had cracked your head.

Regardless, I use Neway exclusively. I've tried the grinders, but had too
many
of them explode, and break pilots, so I gave that up.
Now I spend no more than 15 minutes in a hole, cut my 3 angles, and use
a valve concentricity gauge to get it within .001". I also have a set of
'lapping valves' and only lap the seat, leaving the valve face clean.

Takes a while for them to pay for themselves.

Otherwise, I can recommend a high quality affordable mail order machine
shop.
