Cost for the PC is not that much more than the stage one kit.
It really depends on what the future of the bike will be.
If the stage one is the last thing you'll ever do, and you're leaving the stock
mufflers on, then go for it.
If you'll be boosting the performance in stages, then the PC will be the -last-
module/chip/cartridge/whatever you'll have to buy. That's money ahead in the
long run. (not to mention advantages of longevity, reliability, and comfort for
you)
