I've got this feeling you're talking about the fuji clutch spring compressor.
You're used to having to dismantle the clutch to get it off the mainshaft.
no more. The fuji unit stays together, the center plate that holds the pushrod
adj.
screw comes out after removing the clip, and the nut is under that. It's
splined, so
it just slips right off the mainshaft. No special tool required.
