The breather timing (opening and closing timing) is critical to maintaining
proper vacuum under the pistons, and getting the oil out of the flywheel
cavity. Try to find an instruction sheet for an S&S breather.
They have the timing settings, you would need to set up a timing degree wheel
and grind the port and breather window, and flow it like you would an intake
or exhaust port.
Arbitrarily enlarging of the window can have very disappointing results.
If you're undecided, leave it alone.
