• What is the Harley Rider mailing list?
  The Harley Rider mailing list is a forum for communication among people who participate in the Harley Rider Group. Every email message sent to hd@harleyrider.maxen.net is automatically sent to every subscriber on the list. To limit the number of separate email messages, without limiting the amount of information, subscribers may opt to use the digest version of the list.

• How do I send a message to the mailing list?
  Every email message sent to hd@harleyrider.maxen.net is automatically sent to every subscriber on the list. Note: COMMANDS are sent to majordomo@harleyrider.maxen.net MESSAGES are sent to hd@harleyrider.maxen.net. Seems confusing, but necessary. Please don't mix up the two different addresses.

• How do I get on the Harley Rider list?
  Send the message: subscribe hd to the email address: majordomo@harleyrider.maxen.net

• How can I subscribe a friend to Harley Rider list?
  The easiest way is to use http://http://starbase.aldridge.com/cgi-bin/harleyrider/mdmaxen. Put your friends email address in the Email Field and check the Subscribe box. Hit the Submit button and both you and your friend will receive confirming email from the List.

• How do I get off the Harley Rider list?
  Send the message: unsubscribe hd to the email address: majordomo@harleyrider.maxen.net

• I'd rather have the digest version. How do I do that?
  A digest version is not currently available.

For those of you who prefer it, I have created a web interface to the mailing list from which you can perform several actions including subscribe and unsubscribe. http://starbase.aldridge.com/cgi-bin/harleyrider/mdmaxen

Do be aware that anything you send to hd@harleyrider.maxen.net will automatically go to everyone on the list and you will annoy your friends by sending Test mailings out. You may experiment with any of the commands on the link above and with any command sent to majordomo@harleyrider.maxen.net. You will only be communicating with the mailing list robot who has infinite patience
